Program Mission and Vision
The mission of the Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics at George Mason University is to provide students with undergraduate education that will enable their careers in health informatics and prepare them for further education. The program aims to offer a world-class education in health sciences, information technology, computer science, data science, applications of AI, behavioral sciences, and their interactions within a focused curriculum. Program graduates are ready for positions in health informatics across healthcare and technology industries, and for further graduate education.
The vision is to provide students with the opportunity for world-class education that positions them as leaders in the domain of health informatics.
