Gimm and Goldberg will explore financial strategies to subsidize public health workers’ certifications. This effort expands the extensive portfolio of health workforce initiatives that faculty in the College of Public Health are already leading.

Professor of Nursing Rebecca Sutter, along with faculty and students across colleges, will lead the creation of an interprofessional Learning Laboratory for Community Health.   

The grant is part of the first-of-its-kind Public Health AmeriCorps, which will meet public health needs of local communities and help rebuild the nation’s public health sector
